Unit Head Operations

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for maternal and child health services.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Clinical Oversight & Patient Care

• Oversee day-to-day operations of obstetrics, gynecology, neonatology, and pediatrics units.
• Ensure optimal patient care delivery and safety, with a focus on outcomes for mothers and children.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to implement evidence-based practices and improve service delivery.

Staff Management & Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses, midwives, and support staff.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Quality Assurance & Patient Experience

• Monitor patient satisfaction and address concerns or complaints effectively.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and audits.
• Ensure proper infection control and emergency preparedness protocols.

Collaboration & Communication

• Liaise with government bodies, NGOs, and community organizations to strengthen maternal and child health programs.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration across departments.
• Prepare and present reports to hospital leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  MBBS with specialization in Pediatrics,Obstetrics, or Hospital Administration. Masters in Healthcare/Hospital Management is a plus.

• Skills:

  Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Proficient in healthcare systems, EMRs, and quality assurance protocols.
