Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage motor underwriting operations (private, commercial, fleet).
Approve high-value and complex proposals within authority limits.
Monitor loss ratios, portfolio performance, and underwriting quality.
Review and approve endorsements, break-in cases, and deviations.
Train, guide, and review performance of the underwriting team.
Coordinate with sales, operations, claims, and product teams.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and IRDAI regulations.

Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of motor insurance underwriting.
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in MIS and insurance systems.
