UK Accounting Executive

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced UK Accounting Executive to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or taxation.

• Manage the accuracy and timely processing of quarterly VAT returns for UK client companies.
• Review and prepare financial statements from clients' books on FRS 102, FRS 102 1a, and FRS 105.
• Prepare Year-End Accounts, including bank reconciliation, depreciation account, debtors ledger reconciliation, creditors ledger reconciliation, VAT reconciliation, and PAYE reconciliation.
• Reconcile and streamline company accounting records by inputting all payments, expenses, and other financial transactions into accounting software.
• Create and maintain records of total sales and VAT collected, as well as total purchases and VAT paid.
• Maintain general ledger accounts by creating journal entries, reconciling accounts receivable, preparing monthly accruals, and analyzing and reconciling accounts payable ledgers.
• Adhere to financial procedures and finalize accounts as per statutory requirements and financial & operational controls to improve P&L scenario.
• Perform categorization and execute reconciliations of bank transactions on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare invoices and raise bills monthly, and write emails for month-end queries resolving them through email.
• Facilitate payroll coordination, month-end close works, and finalization of accounts.

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; Chartered Accountant (CA), Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA/PGDM), or Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT return, and UK shift operations.
• Experience with work-from-home options and walk-in interviews is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Alfa tax, IRIS, and Tax Calc.
