UI QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview: Armada, an edge computing startup focused on providing computing infrastructure to remote areas and locations requiring local data processing, is seeking a UI QA Automation Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated UI tests for web and mobile applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated UI test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Enhance and maintain the automation test framework for web and mobile applications. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. - Conduct functional, regression, and cross-browser/device testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. - Document and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA. - Identify opportunities for enhancing the testing process and automation coverage continuously. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in UI test automation. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for test development. - Familiarity with testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design testing. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
