UI QA Automation Engineer

As a UI QA Automation Engineer in our Quality Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications by developing and maintaining automated UI tests. Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product managers, you will be responsible for testing all user interfaces to ensure they meet usability and functionality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated UI test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Enhance and maintain the automation test framework for web and mobile applications. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. - Conduct functional, regression, and cross-browser/device testing. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases. - Document and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA. - Identify opportunities for enhancing the testing process and automation coverage continuously. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in UI test automation. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for test development. - Familiarity with testing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. - Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design testing. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium. - Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Gherkin. - Exposure to performance and accessibility testing tools. - Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
