The Risk-Investment & Markets (Risk-IM) mission is to provide transparent and dynamic risk analysis to the Senior Management and Risk Management teams of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and Investment Solutions (IS) business units. As part of Risk-IM, the Risk Systems team plays a crucial role in providing the bank with a comprehensive capital markets risk system to calculate market and counterparty risk capital figures using advanced methods. The Data Fabric team is responsible for delivering a large-scale risk data architecture that supports rapid re-configuration in compliance with stringent data governance rules. We are currently seeking a Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop the client side of our services, focusing on creating a user-friendly web application with flexible configuration and optimal performance. You will collaborate with front and back-end developers, creating modules and components, and integrating them into a functional application for Risk business users. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and unit test solutions in line with BNP Paribas best practices and standards. - Translate requirements into solutions and provide accurate estimates for work. - Participate in peer group code reviews and identify and monitor risks and issues. - Work on small-scale enhancements and larger projects with developers in Lisbon. - Rapidly prototype solutions and ensure high performance in a multi-browser environment. - Write testable, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code. - Collaborate with back-end developers in building the RESTful API and communicate with web services. Qualifications: - Proficiency in Angular 16+ with ECMA Script 6+. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. - Experience in creating reusable and testable modules and components. - Understanding of multi-tier platforms, including databases, APIs, caching layers, and web services. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude.
