Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, ensuring consistent design standards and user experience (UX) best practices across all projects.
• Act as the primary voice of UX and design in cross-functional product development teams including engineering, business, QA, and marketing.
• Translate complex ideas and business requirements into clear, intuitive, and effective design solutions.
• Oversee and manage design deliverables to ensure timely completion in alignment with fast-evolving project priorities.

Key Competencies:

• Guide the team in creating process flows, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups to convey both high-level design concepts and detailed interaction behaviours.
• Maintain and elevate design quality by reviewing team deliverables and providing constructive feedback.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and related design tools.
• Hands-on experience in Branding, Prototyping, Interaction Design, Visual Design, User Experience, and Agile workflows.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Zeplin, Photoshop, Moqups, Marvel App, InVision, VS Code, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and WordPress; ability to support and guide developers on design implementation.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and team capacity while setting realistic expectations and communicating design trade-offs effectively.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in designing mobile apps, websites, dashboards, and interactive animations, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
• Experience in video/motion design is highly preferred.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates leadership in UX, UI, and visual design across platforms.
