PhD is Mandatory JD: Air-flow, thermal analysis engineering using fluid dynamics of Advanced development Job Summary: Using analytical and experimental techniques, lead the development of fans and airflow systems in terms of noise, strength analysis, thermal flow analysis and manufacturability. Responsibility: Through numerical and experimental analysis, develop new types of fans (propeller, cross-flow, centrifugal, sirocco) for air conditioners that improve the fluid performance and reduce noise. To do thermal flow analysis with in system and around system to improve thermal efficiency of product at development stage and analyze thermal efficiency at customer site. Work with various stakeholders, including the members of platform design department, each module, and the production technology department, to develop a fan that maintains performance and noise levels without sacrificing strength or productivity. Propose and design prototypes and experimental equipment that will lead to the evaluation of subsystems, including fans and shrouds. Educational Qualification: Masters degree (or equivalent) and PhD in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics dealing with the flow around fans, turbomachinery design, rotating machinery, and CFD analysis. Working experience: at least 5 years of fan design, thermal analysis or research experience Skill requirements: Communication and presentation skills. Ability to make objective decisions in collaboration with managers to ensure that the right decisions are made. Ability to make judgments that enable correct responses to stakeholder comments. Ability to propose new approaches to problems Language: Excellent communication skills. (Fluent English, both written and spoken is preferred.) Primary responsibility is to Carry out static/transient, Linear/Non-linear thermal and thermo mechanical FEA (Finite element analysis) of Gas Turbine static & Rotating components (e.g. blades & Vanes, combustion, Rotor, casing etc.) using commercial software such as ANSYS mechanical, ANSYS workbench, NX-CAE, Nastran & Abaqus. Your new role challenging and future- oriented: Carry out static/transient, Linear/Non-linear thermal and thermo mechanical FEA (Finite element analysis) of Gas Turbine static & Rotating components (e.g. blades & Vanes, combustion, Rotor, casing etc.) using commercial software such as ANSYS mechanical, ANSYS workbench, NX-CAE, Nastran & Abaqus. Perform Low cycle fatigue, High Cycle fatigue and detailed Fracture mechanics assessment of Gas Turbines static & rotating components. Perform high temperature creep calculation and assessment. Creep-fatigue interaction needs to be checked. Prepare and document FE calculation in the form of structural integrity design report. Participate and conduct structural integrity design review at component level. Seamless transfer of structural integrity calculation input and output between design team and project lead respectively. We dont need superheroes, just super minds: Mechanical Engineer graduate/Post graduate from recognized college/university More than 6 years of experience in CAE/FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for linear, Non- linear, static, Transient, thermal and structural calculations. Experience in FEA software ANSYS mechanical or ANSYS Workbench or NX-CAE, Nastran or Abaqus Experience in Product Design in Turbo Machinery or Automotive or General Engineering Strong background in engineering Mechanics and mechanical design. Experience in turbo machinery i.e. Gas turbine, Steam turbine will be preferred Strong soft personal skill i.e. team player, quick learner, ability to adapt quickly & effectively etc.

We are hiring for the role of Sr. Design Engineer for Pune location Key Responsibilities: Review and check design calculations, drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and related documentation. Extract and provide purchase specifications and inputs to the purchasing department. Study project specifications, identify special requirements, and provide compliance for the same. Independently perform mechanical design calculations. Provide support and guidance for the team as required in the design and development phases. Required Skills: Strong understanding of design calculations, drawings, and BOMs. Ability to extract purchase specifications and collaborate with the purchasing team. Awareness of engineering standards such as ASME, ASTM, ISO, IS, DIN, and EN. Knowledge of casting, forging, fabrication, and machining processes. Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) stack-up analysis and understanding. Familiarity with piping systems and fabrication processes. Knowledge of valve, pump, pressure vessel, boiler, turbomachinery, and piping skids. Previous experience in project-based industries is preferred. Desired Profile: Solid engineering knowledge with attention to detail. Good documentation and communication skills. Enthusiastic and eager to learn. Honest, sincere, and hardworking with the ability to work well in teams. Adaptability to various work situations and challenges. Qualifications: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
