You will be a vital player in leading the daily engineering support of service shops and ensure reliability and consistent performance of maintenance activities within the Aero Derivative Gas Turbines area. As a Repair Engineer Aero Derivative Gas Turbines (Shop support, Departure Records Management), your responsibilities will include supporting maintenance execution in the service shop, including inspection and disposition of components, dis-positioning activities, ensuring adherence to the latest shop practices, reporting outstanding recurrent findings to the repair engineering teams, supporting operational targets such as the Turn Around Time, risk-based evaluation, and mitigation action definitions, preparing technical documentation supporting internal reviews of the project, leading technical investigations and Root Cause Analysis activities on gas turbine components, and supporting the development of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, and industrialization. To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (Master's degree preferred), in-depth working experience in a turbo machinery service shop, previous experience working on Aero/Aviation Derivative Gas Turbines, and experience in developing and managing technical investigations.
