Tunnel Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor

  tunnel construction activities

  including

  TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine), NATM (New Austrian Tunnelling Method), and cut & cover

  methods
• Ensure compliance with design, technical drawings, and specifications during construction
• Review

  geotechnical data

  , proposed construction methodologies, and associated

  risk assessments

• Implement

  mitigation measures

  to ensure

  ground and structural safety

• Coordinate with

  contractors, consultants, and stakeholders

  to resolve interface issues across

  tunnelling, stations, and system works

• Enforce

  HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)

  standards and ensure rigorous quality control at all stages
• Conduct

  site inspections

  , and review monitoring data including

  settlement, vibration, and groundwater levels

• Prepare and maintain

  progress reports, method statements

  , and other

  technical documentation

• Support overall

  project planning and execution

  to ensure timely completion of works
