SAP FIORI/Ui5 should have:
- SAP UI5/Fiori Developer with 8 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying SAP Fiori applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, OData services, SAP BTP, and S/4HANA (On-Premise or RISE). - OData & Backend Integration
Develop and consume OData services using SAP Gateway.
Work closely with ABAP, IS-U, and S/4HANA backend teams to define service interfaces.
Manage CRUD-Q operations and deep entity structures.
Ensure secure and optimized backend connectivity.
- Fiori Launchpad & Mobility
Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad, catalogs, groups, tiles, roles.
Deploy applications in:
S/4HANA On-Premise
SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry / Neo)
SAP Mobile Services (optional)
Experience in building offline-capable or mobile-responsive apps preferred.
Work on SAP BTP services including:
SAP BAS (Business Application Studio)
Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM)
Workflow, Business Rules Service
Build side-by-side extensions and in-app extensions.
Implement security (XSUAA), destinations, and connectivity.
- Performance, Quality & Security
Optimize UI performance, load times, and service calls.
Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT.
Ensure compliance with Fiori UX standards and SAP security.
- Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare technical design documents (TDD), code walkthroughs, and KT content.
Collaborate with functional consultants from FICO, MM, IS-U Billing, CRM, and Device Management modules.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, demos).
Required Skills & Experience
8 10 years of experience in SAP UI5/Fiori application development.
Strong programming expertise in: SAPUI5, JavaScript / TypeScript, XML Views, Controllers, Routing Experience with: Fiori Elements OData Services (creation & consumption), Fiori Launchpad configuration, Hands-on development in S/4HANA (On-Prem/Rise) projects.
Experience in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code repositories.
Understanding of ABAP on backend (read/use), even if not hands-on.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Skills -Experience in SAP BTP, CAPM, RAP model.
Knowledge of SAP Workflows, BRF+.
Experience in Utilities (IS-U) processes (Billing, DM, FICA, CRM).
Exposure to Mobile services, MDK apps, or hybrid app development.
Knowledge of UX design tools (Figma, SAP Build Apps).
Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)
SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Fiori Application Developer.
SAP BTP Extension Developer certification.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in engineering Computer Science in IT /B. E / B. Tech or MBA would be preferred.
