SFMC test engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, system, integration, and end-to-end testing across Journey Builder, Contact Builder and Cloud Pages
• Automate validation of Journey triggers, API-based events, Data extension updates and Email rendering and personalization
• Validate SQL queries, data imports, Synchronized Data Sources, and complex data extensions.
• Verify AMP script logic, personalization strings, dynamic content, and send-time data.
• Ensure data compliance, integrity, and mapping accuracy across systems.
• Test integrations between SFMC and external systems, including Salesforce CRM,APIs (REST/SOAP) ,SFTP data transfers and Custom connectors
• Validate API calls, payloads, response codes, and triggered actions.
• Write test plans, test cases, RTM, defect reports and validate UAT.
• Work with Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, grooming, and reviews.
• Implement QA best practices and improve overall testing efficiency.
• Identify and log issues in tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot journey errors, injection failures, automation issues, send failures, and tracking discrepancies.

Skills:

• 3-5 years of QA experience, including

  Salesforce Marketing Cloud testing

  .
• Strong understanding of SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder.
• Hands-on experience in: SQL ,API testing and Automation scripting
• Solid understanding of marketing automation concepts and customer lifecycle workflows.
• Experience testing email rendering, personalization and multi-channel campaigns.
