Truck Driver

Role Overview: As a driver for the event office, your main responsibility will be to ensure the timely and safe transportation of staff and materials to and from event venues as instructed by the HODs. You will be required to drive office vehicles, follow traffic rules, and use GPS to map safe routes. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks such as loading/unloading inventory and supporting different departments as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Attend regularly scheduled event office meets - Safely drive office vehicles and comply with traffic rules - Map safe routes using standard maps or GPS - Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage - Bring snacks/meals for staff during events - Assist in loading/unloading inventory pre/post-event - Assist Lighting, Audio, Video, and Staging departments - Maintain consistent attendance record and punctuality - Perform preventive and regular maintenance of vehicles - Keep vehicles clean, tidy, and in good working condition - Refuel vehicles and repair minor issues with permission - Schedule annual vehicle examinations and renew vehicle licenses - Keep track of truck insurance renewals and monthly mileage records - Maintain all records and receipts for vehicle maintenance Qualifications Required: - Must hold a valid Goa transport licence & a PSV badge - Minimum 2 years experience driving heavy vehicles - Familiarity with local routes & traffic regulations - Flexible with work timings - Basic communication skills Additional Details: The company provides benefits such as food, health insurance, paid sick time, and paid time off.
