Treasury Controller

Role Overview: As a Treasury Controller in Bengaluru reporting to the Corporate Controller, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the correct accounting and reporting of all treasury instruments such as Forwards, Futures, Options, and Swaps. You will also be involved in reconciling incomes and expenses related to Global Treasury on a monthly basis, preparing YTD Investment Walk product wise, and reconciling Total Treasury Income, Expenses, and Investments balances with the financials. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining control over Derivative Asset and Derivative Liabilities accounts including MTM, managing the closure of audit queries quarterly and annually, preparing all Treasury Notes to Accounts, managing Treasury audit closure quarterly, and conducting the annual impairment testing exercise. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure correct accounting and reporting of all treasury instruments such as Forwards, Futures, Options, and Swaps. - Reconcile incomes and expenses related to Global Treasury on a monthly basis. - Prepare YTD Investment Walk product wise and reconcile Total Treasury Income, Expenses, and Investments balances with the financials. - Maintain control over Derivative Asset and Derivative Liabilities accounts including MTM. - Manage the closure of audit queries quarterly and annually. - Prepare all Treasury Notes to Accounts and manage Treasury audit closure quarterly. - Conduct the annual impairment testing exercise. - Preparation of accounting Memos for various transactions as required as per Ind AS. - Assist the central team in compliance with the Hedging Relationship and perform the Hedge Effectiveness Testing at the year-end. - Collaborate with Treasury Front office, Middle Office, and Back office teams to ensure policy compliances. - Submit account reconciliations in the tool. - Provide estimates to the tax team for tax provisioning. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Strong understanding of treasury instruments and accounting principles. - Experience in conducting audit queries and managing treasury audits. - Knowledge of Ind AS and tax provisioning. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
