Position Overview:

The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating all ground operations for inbound and outbound travel services. This role involves liaising with suppliers, ensuring smooth execution of itineraries, handling client requests, and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in operations within a DMC, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute day-to-day travel operations for individual and group bookings.
  • Liaise with hotels, transport providers, guides, and other suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Prepare and verify service vouchers, itineraries, and operational documents.
  • Monitor service quality and resolve on-ground issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support the sales team with operational feasibility checks and quotations when needed.
  • Maintain updated records of bookings, supplier contracts, and client preferences.
  • Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, or special requests efficiently.
  • Collaborate with accounts to ensure accurate billing and supplier payments.
  • Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures for operations.
  • Provide after-hours or emergency support to clients when required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations within a DMC or travel management company.
  • Strong understanding of travel logistics, supplier management, and destination knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and travel management systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
