Job Description

As a Domestic Operations Executive, you will be responsible for managing and executing educational tours within India with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Your primary focus will be on ensuring smooth operations, coordinating with vendors, and delivering high-quality experiences to students and educators. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: - Tour Planning & Execution: You will be in charge of planning, organizing, and executing domestic educational tours to provide a seamless experience. This will involve coordinating logistics such as transportation, accommodation, meals, and on-ground support. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing detailed itineraries and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. - Vendor Coordination: You will work closely with vendors, transport providers, hotels, and local guides to ensure efficient tour operations. Your responsibilities will include negotiating and securing cost-effective deals while maintaining quality standards. Vendor audits will also be conducted to ensure compliance with service standards. - Team Support & Coordination: Collaboration with the operations team will be crucial to ensure the timely execution of tours. You will coordinate with tour leaders, educators, and support staff during the trips. Additionally, you will assist in training and briefing on-ground staff and tour leaders. - Customer Service: Addressing client queries and concerns before and during the tours will be part of your responsibilities. You will manage on-ground issues and emergencies, ensuring smooth resolutions. Furthermore, collecting and analyzing feedback post-tour to enhance future experiences will be essential. - Budgeting & Reporting: Monitoring and managing tour budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness will be a key aspect of your role. You will maintain accurate records of tour expenses and operational data. Additionally, preparing reports on tour performance, issues, and feedback will be necessary. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, preferably in the travel or education sector, is required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to travel frequently as per business needs are also expected.
