Position: Executive – Admin (Travel Desk) Location: [Bangalore] Department: Administration Experience Required: Minimum 2 years Education: Graduate in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Aviation Management or any equivalent qualification

Role Summary

The Executive – Admin (Travel Desk) will be responsible for coordinating and managing end-to-end domestic and international travel requirements for employees. The role requires strong communication skills, high energy, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to manage travel requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle domestic and international travel bookings including flights, hotels, taxis, visas, and insurance.
  • Manage end-to-end travel desk operations, ensuring adherence to company travel policies.
  • Coordinate with travel vendors, airlines, and hotels for best rates and itinerary options.
  • Provide timely travel itineraries and support employees throughout the travel lifecycle.
  • Maintain and update travel logs, MIS reports, and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Support visa processing by coordinating required documents and assisting employees with guidelines.
  • Assist in escalation management with travel partners and resolve booking issues.
  • Ensure cost optimization through vendor negotiation and preferred booking channels.
  • Work closely with Finance for invoice validation, reconciliation, and timely payment processing.
  • Maintain strong communication with employees to deliver a seamless travel experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong knowledge of airline booking tools, GDS (if applicable), and online travel platforms.
  • Good understanding of domestic and international travel processes.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of ownership, energy, and customer service orientation.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, or related fields.
  • Prior experience working in a corporate travel desk or with a travel agency.
