Travel Consultant

As a Travel Consultant at our Kerala-based travel company, you will play a key role in helping clients create memorable domestic and international trips. Your responsibilities will include consulting with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and schedules. You will design and customize itineraries covering flights, hotels, tours, transportation, and activities. Managing bookings end-to-end, including flights, lodging, visas, insurance, and rentals will be a crucial part of your role. It will be essential for you to keep clients informed on visa requirements, travel advisories, insurance options, customs, local conditions, and cancellation policies. Staying updated on travel trends, new destinations, and regulatory changes will enable you to provide current and relevant advice to clients. You will be expected to deliver exceptional client support, resolving issues during booking or travel, and working towards improving client satisfaction. In addition to providing excellent customer service, you will also be responsible for promoting additional services such as upgrades, insurance, and guided tours to boost revenue. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and local partners will be an integral part of your role. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and the opportunity for a performance bonus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in travel planning. A willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is preferred. The work location is in person.
