Job Description

Role Overview: As a Travel Consultant at the company, you will play multiple roles including Travel Consultant (TC), Account Manager, Relationship Manager (RM), Customer Service Representative (CSR), and Sales Representative/Business Development Representative (BDR). Your main responsibilities will involve travel consulting, booking, post-travel management, managing different types of customers, handling inbound and outbound communications, boosting sales, attending sales calls, converting leads, and following up with customers. You will be an essential part of the team and will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to the fullest. Key Responsibilities: - Provide travel consulting services and manage bookings and reservations - Handle various types of customers including Retail, Walk-ins, Counter Sales, Corporate, and Sub-agent customers - Interact with customers via calls, emails, and chat for customer service, sales, or technical support - Boost sales of the company by attending sales calls, converting leads, and following up with customers - Manage flights, ticketing, reservations, post-flight management, and other related tasks - Handle hotel reservations, suggest appropriate hotels based on customer preferences, and manage special requests - Coordinate with DMCs for outbound travel, handle FIT tours, MICE tours, and group tours - Assist in visa applications, understanding VISA types, requirements, and regulations - Deal with forex transactions, understanding buy, sell, and spot prices, and various forex instruments - Manage other products like airport transfers, tours, activities, car rentals, and cruises - Provide excellent customer service with fluent communication skills, proficiency in customer support systems, and interpersonal skills - Act as a sales executive by managing different types of customers, generating leads, persuading customers, and conducting travel auditing - Thrive in a start-up environment, coordinate with internal employees, display a professional attitude, take initiative, and maintain a positive outlook Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree and relevant diplomas in travel management courses - Mandatory IATA Qualification/Certification - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant in an IATA travel agency - Experience and training at airport reservation counters will be a plus - Certifications from travel associations like TAFI, TAAI, ASTA, IATO, PATA, and UFTAA will be advantageous - Diplomas and formal training in Customer Service will be a plus,
