As a Travel Process Executive at WNS, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their international travel arrangements. Your responsibilities will include: - Book international flights using GDS systems like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. - Handle flight reissues, exchanges, and refunds based on diverse airline fare rules. - Resolve complex travel-related issues such as flight cancellations and delays under pressure. - Provide accurate information on airline alliances, regulations, visa requirements, and geographical factors affecting travel. - Advise clients on efficient routing and cost-effective options considering alternative airports and vendors. - Communicate effectively through phone and email to offer travel options and exceptional customer service. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skill set: - Proficiency in a major Global Distribution System (GDS) like Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo. - Strong understanding of ticketing, fare rules, taxes, and complex fare construction for international travel. - Familiarity with major airline alliances, their routing benefits, and airline-specific policies. - Extensive knowledge of world geography, major cities, airport codes, and travel logistics. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and internal travel management tools. - Attention to detail and organizational skills to avoid errors in complex itineraries. - Decisive problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected travel disruptions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction. - Customer service orientation to provide superior service to VIP clients.
