Description

The Transportation Officer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating transportation logistics within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing transportation processes to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate transportation logistics for goods and personnel.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
Monitor and analyze transportation costs and efficiencies to recommend improvements.
Manage relationships with transportation service providers and vendors.
Prepare and maintain accurate transportation records and reports.
Resolve transportation-related issues and provide timely solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in transportation or logistics roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
