As an Intern at Stockarea, your primary role will involve managing vehicle trips and ensuring efficient deliveries. Your key responsibilities will include: - Scheduling and tracking the movement of trucks and transport vehicles for timely deliveries. - Handling end-to-end trip operations, including vehicle assignment, driver coordination, documentation, and on-ground execution. - Sourcing vehicles from reliable transport vendors to meet trip requirements for ongoing accounts. - Coordinating with the Commercials team to process new trip requests promptly. - Developing strategies to generate additional business from existing clients by identifying new lanes and expanding volumes. - Overseeing daily trip planning, allocation, and supervision for smooth execution and issue resolution. - Maintaining detailed records related to vehicle utilization, trip performance, fuel usage, and operational metrics. - Ensuring accurate data entry and documentation for every trip to support performance tracking. - Resolving operational blockages at customer or transit sites by coordinating with relevant parties. - Recommending cost-effective shipping methods and routing options to enhance operational efficiency. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement transportation strategies and improve customer service. - Monitoring transportation expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and identifying deviations. - Maintaining high availability and responsiveness to support urgent operational needs and resolve critical issues. - Taking ownership of challenges and driving resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
