Transport Manager - India

Role & responsibilities

• This position will be responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters at client location for PAN India sites.
• This includes managing budgets, organising schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
• Ensuring that the roster is prepared on time
• Managing and supervising the Transport executives activities
• Transport Billing, Generating MIS, Invoice processing and verification
• Preparing monthly/weekly/daily reports
• Cost Analysis to be done regularly. (Per Employee Cost, per trip, package cost etc.)
• Provide all MIS and data as required by client and JLL.
• Be accessible for escalation of all transport related issues
• Carrying out routine vehicle inspections
• Providing advice to helpdesk operators on escalated issues
• Overseeing the transport security functions during night shift
• Incident reporting and management
• Handling transport emergencies
• Ensure team attends trainings as per the schedule prepared by him.
• Schedule regular feedback meetings with vendor to ensure all operational issues are resolved.
• Ensure all female staff is given security escort as per regulatory norms
• All statutory compliances are met and the compliance score is above acceptable levels
• Manage the transport software given by the client and ensure its performance is above 95%

Employee specification

• Candidate should be Graduate
• 8/10 years experience in Transport Management industry into IT / Banking / Corporate set up.
