Transport In-charge

We are currently seeking a dynamic and responsible individual to join our educational institution as a Transport Incharge. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the school's transportation system, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school and various events.

Responsibilities:

Fleet Management:

• Supervise and manage the school's fleet of buses, vans, or other transport vehicles.
• Ensure that all vehicles are well-maintained, regularly serviced, and comply with safety standards.
• Route Planning:
• Develop and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of students.
• Plan routes to accommodate new students, changes in addresses, or other relevant factors.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for students while on the school transport.
• Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and standards for school transportation.

• Staff Supervision:
• Oversee and manage the performance of drivers and attendants.
• Conduct regular training sessions for drivers and attendants on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and customer service.

• Communication:
• Maintain effective communication with parents, school administrators, and transport staff.
• Address and resolve any concerns or issues related to transportation promptly and professionally.

• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of student ridership, routes, and any incidents.
• Prepare reports on transportation-related metrics and activities.

• Emergency Response:
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for transportation-related incidents.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities in case of emergencies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
