Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily transportation operations.
Plan and schedule vehicle routes to ensure timely and efficient transport.
Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
Ensure all vehicles are properly serviced, insured, and meet safety standards.
Maintain records of vehicle documents, logbooks, and driver duty schedules.
Allocate drivers and vehicles based on requirements.
Ensure strict compliance with traffic rules, transport laws, and company policies.
Handle any emergency or delays effectively.
Prepare regular reports on transportation activities, expenses, and performance.
Coordinate with management, staff, and external agencies for smooth operations.
Handle and resolve the Students / Parents Queries.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Transport In charge, Transport Manager, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, transport regulations, and route planning.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Ability to handle pressure and solve problems quickly.
Proficiency in record-keeping and computer applications (MS Excel, Word, etc.).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
