Description
As a Transmission Expert, you will play a key role in troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting large IP networks, with a strong focus on packet-level analysis, OSI layers, and Layer 3 technologies. You will work with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP) and key technologies like ICMP, TCP, IPsec, GRE, QoS, and VRRP to ensure network efficiency and reliability. You also have a deep understanding of IP packet flow. You have: Bachelors Degree in Minimum 6 + years of experience in good troubleshooting, implementation and support of large IP networks (preferably Service Provider) understanding of Packet level - IP Packet flow, OSI layers. Experience in Layer 3 - IP and related technologies (ICMP, TCP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, VRRP) & IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP). Experience in Layer 2 technologies (Ethernet, 802.1q/p VLAN, STP, RSTP, ARP, PPP, MLPPP, LACP). Experience in PTP/ SyncE protocols. It will be nice if you also have : Preferred Certifications - JNCIS-SP, JNCIE-SP/DC/ENT, CCIE-SP or other equivalent certifications. Good to have exposure in one or more areas - MPLS, VPLS, L2 VPNs, L3 VPN, EVPN, VxLAN. Troubleshooting, implementation and support of large IP networks (preferably Service Provider) Excellent Customer handling and communication (verbal and written) skills and experience in directly interacting with the global customers. Lead and drive problems reported by customers on Cisco/Nokia routing platforms towards effective resolution. Narrow down reported problems to software/hardware. Work with highly knowledgeable group of customers and partners. Be a fast learner and keep pace with newer technologies and new products. And help improve processes and tools.
