Transition Manager Medical Coding

As an Assistant Manager / Manager in Medical Coding Transition at MBW RCM, your role will involve planning, project-managing, and leading the implementation of medium-to-large scale process transitions. You will negotiate SLAs and KPIs, taking ownership of service delivery until the completion of the transition process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure adherence to the Offshoring/transition framework for project planning, execution, and delivery. - Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for clients during the transition phase of projects. - Work with service delivery teams to exceed client expectations consistently. - Handle end-to-end transition/ramp-up of new and existing accounts, managing project scope and schedule. - Formulate, design, and present transition projects internally/externally. - Understand and implement detailed transition implementation plans for new client proposals. - Perform due diligence during the transition period to align with contractual obligations and set expectations with clients and internal stakeholders. - Be the primary contact with clients, the implementation team, and senior management to provide a comprehensive view of transition management. - Identify and address potential risks that may impact project timelines, implementing mitigation plans. - Collaborate with the team to develop internal risk & issues management procedures. - Lead structured governance with key workstreams involved in transition implementation. - Develop the overall transition project plan and guide Knowledge Transfer leads in creating SOPs or Work Instructions for clients/projects. - Follow the transition toolkit and aim for continuous improvement in toolkit documentation. - Cultivate strong working relationships with Clients, Cross-functional, and Operations teams. **Qualifications Required:** - Well-versed in multiple specialties under medical coding. - 8 to 10 years of overall experience in US Healthcare RCM, with 2 to 3 years in Transition Management. - Familiarity with Project/Transition Management Functions.
