Job Description

The Training Manager & Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of employees in the engineering organization. Your role will involve establishing a state-of-the-art training center, designing curriculum, coordinating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. You will collaborate with management to define the vision and goals of the training center. You will assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations to develop and update training programs and materials relevant to engineering practices and technologies. Organizing and scheduling training sessions, workshops, and seminars will be part of your responsibilities, as well as coordinating with internal experts and external trainers to facilitate training delivery. As the Training Manager & Coordinator, you will manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and source training materials and tools, negotiating contracts with vendors as needed. Implementing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and collecting feedback from participants to make improvements based on assessment results will be crucial. Ensuring that training programs comply with industry standards and regulations and staying updated on trends in engineering training to incorporate best practices are essential aspects of the role. You will prepare regular reports on training activities, participation rates, and outcomes for management, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in training programs. Collaborating with department heads to align training objectives with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Education, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's preferred). - Proven experience in training program development and management, preferably in an engineering or technical environment. - Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Desired Skills: - Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training technologies. - Strong analytical skills to assess training effectiveness. - Project management skills to oversee the training center establishment and operations.
