Trainer - Retail Sales Associate

Trainer - Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering technical training on various computer and software skills to students, job seekers, or working professionals. The trainer ensures learners gain both theoretical understanding and practical proficiency in IT tools, programming, or office technologies based on the training curriculum. The trainer will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for a successful career in the retail sector.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in any discipline / Diploma in Retail management.
• preferably Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or Retail Management
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Retails / Store operations
• Familiarity with government skill programs like PMKVY, DDU-GKY, TNSDC is an added advantage
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and the local language.
• Good interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Ability to use audio-visual aids and digital training tools.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet).
• Positive attitude and passion for skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom and practical sessions as per the training curriculum prescribed by the Sector Skill Council.
• Prepare daily lesson plans, training aids, and assessment materials.
• Ensure that all training sessions are engaging, interactive, and meet the learning outcomes.
• Conduct internal assessments and prepare trainees for external assessments.
• Maintain attendance, training records, and performance reports of all trainees.
• Provide individual and group mentoring to trainees for skill enhancement and job readiness.
• Coordinate with the placement team for trainee interviews and employment support.
• Ensure compliance with NSDC/TNSDC/SSC standards and documentation requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
