Job Title: Trainer - Mason

Location: All Districts of Tamil Nadu

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mason Trainer to deliver hands-on and theoretical training under various skill development and vocational training programs. The trainer will be responsible for equipping trainees with the skills required for masonry work, including brickwork, block work, plastering, tiling, and related construction activities, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on masonry techniques such as brick laying, block laying, stone masonry, plastering, tiling, and related construction skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and demonstrations aligned with prescribed curriculum (e.g., NSDC/SSC/QP standards).
• Impart knowledge on the use of tools, equipment, and materials used in masonry work.
• Ensure safety practices and proper handling of tools during practical training sessions.
• Assess trainees’ performance through assignments, practical assessments, and tests.
• Provide career guidance, motivation, and mentoring to trainees for employability.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
• Stay updated with the latest industry practices, tools, and construction techniques.
• Coordinate with project staff and management for smooth execution of training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational Qualification: ITI/Diploma/Certificate in Masonry, Civil, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of industry experience in masonry/construction work. Prior experience as a trainer or instructor will be preferred.
• Certification: Sector Skill Council (SSC)/NSDC-certified trainer (if applicable) will be an added advantage.

Skills Required

• Strong technical knowledge of masonry techniques and construction practices.
• Good communication and presentation skills (Tamil & English language proficiency preferred).
• Ability to train and engage diverse groups of learners.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environment practices at construction sites.
• Patience, adaptability, and mentoring capability.

Additional Requirements:

• Willing to travel for other locations as per the project requirements.
