The Trainee Engineer will support day-to-day technical operations, assist senior engineers, and learn the required processes and technical skills. This is an entry-level role aimed at developing practical knowledge in IT hardware, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and customer support.
2. Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
Assist in troubleshooting
desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues
. Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems.
Resolve basic OS and software-related issues.
Assist in network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi/Printer).
Perform basic hardware replacement (RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboard, battery, etc.).
Asset & Documentation
Maintain asset inventory and update records.
Assist in tagging and tracking IT equipment.
Prepare daily/weekly reports for senior engineers.
Customer/End-User Support
Provide on-site or remote support to users.
Log incidents and service requests in the ticketing tool.
Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams.
Learning & Development
Learn company processes, SOPs, and IT guidelines.
Participate in training sessions and shadow senior engineers.
Improve troubleshooting skills through hands-on tasks.
3. Skills Required
Good understanding of computer basics (software and hardware).
Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking.
Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work under supervision.
Problem-solving attitude and willingness to work on field tasks.
4. Eligibility Criteria
Diploma / Graduate in IT/CS/Electronics or related field.
Basic computer hardware knowledge is preferred.

6. Working Hours
General shift / Rotational shift (depending on project requirements).
