About the Role

This is an entry-level position for someone who’s creatively inclined, visually driven, and eager to learn the ropes of branding and design in a real-world agency setting.

At PurpleChalk, we’re looking for a Creative Trainee who can work hands-on with our content and design teams. You’ll support visual storytelling, assist with layouts and graphics, and bring brand ideas to life using tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.

If you have a good eye, strong ideas, and a willingness to grow — this could be your start in the creative industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team with layout, artwork, and visual ideation

• Create quick mockups, social posts, banners, or visual elements using Photoshop/Illustrator

• Assist with moodboards, brand research, and creative references

• Collaborate with content writers and strategists on visual storytelling

• Proof artwork and prep files for final delivery

• Maintain visual consistency across campaigns and platforms

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas

You’re a Great Fit If You

• Are a fresher or recent graduate with a background in design, media, communication, or related fields

• Have working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (basic to intermediate level)

• Are based in Chennai or Tamil Nadu and available to join immediately

• Can think creatively and visually — not just execute instructions

• Are eager to learn from feedback and grow across disciplines

• Have strong attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility
