Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Trainee Coder located in Noida. The Trainee Coder will be responsible for coding medical records and providing accurate and timely coding of inpatient and outpatient services. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing medical documentation, assigning appropriate codes, ensuring compliance with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPC, CCA) are a plus
• Prior experience in medical coding is beneficial but not required
