Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor

  family and proprietary portfolios

  across equities, mutual funds, debt instruments, and derivatives.
• Execute trades in

  cash, futures, options, and currency markets

  with a focus on risk-adjusted returns.
• Design and implement

  hedging strategies

  , including:
• Portfolio hedging using derivatives
• Rollover hedging for futures positions
• Currency hedging for domestic and overseas exposures
• Actively manage

  margin utilization

  , leverage, and capital efficiency.
• Track market trends, corporate actions, macroeconomic indicators, and global cues.
• Conduct

  portfolio rebalancing

  and risk assessment on a regular basis.
• Monitor P&L, drawdowns, and exposure limits; ensure adherence to internal risk policies.
• Utilize and optimize various

  trading tools and platforms

  for execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Maintain trade logs, performance reports, and compliance-related documentation.
• Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders for smooth trade execution.
• Ensure adherence to SEBI, RBI, and exchange regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com / M.Com

Experience & Knowledge

• 2-5 years of experience in trading and portfolio management
• NISM / CFA (Level I or higher) or equivalent certifications
• Experience managing

  HNI or family office portfolios

• Knowledge of tax implications related to trading and investments.

Strong understanding of:

• Hedging strategies and derivative instruments
• Forex and interest rate risk management
• Corporate treasury operations
• Equity markets and mutual funds
• Debt instruments and fixed-income markets
• Derivatives (Futures & Options)
• Currency markets and hedging mechanisms

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in trading platforms and risk management systems
• Strong MS Excel skills (advanced formulas, scenario analysis)
• Knowledge of Bloomberg / Reuters (preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• High attention to detail and risk awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
