Job Title: Senior Executive – Tours and Travel

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive – Tours and Travel to manage and grow our travel operations, curate customized itineraries, design packages, handle client relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of domestic and international tours. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of destinations, strong customer service skills, and proven experience in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tour Planning & Itinerary Management

• Design and customize travel itineraries based on client requirements.
• Coordinate with DMCs (Destination Management Companies), vendors, hotels, transport providers, and local guides.
• Ensure timely bookings of flights, accommodations, transfers, activities, and other services.

2. Sales & Client Relationship

• Handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Consult clients on destinations, travel requirements, costs, and arrangements.
• Provide after-sales support and manage changes, cancellations, or special requests.
• Upsell services (e.g., travel insurance, upgrades, special experiences).

3. Operations & Coordination

• Oversee the execution of confirmed tours and ensure client satisfaction throughout the travel process.
• Liaise with internal teams and partners to ensure smooth tour operations.
• Address and resolve issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain records of bookings, payments, client details, and feedback.
• Prepare tour costings, proposals, and MIS reports.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry.
• Strong destination knowledge (domestic and/or international).
• Proficient in GDS systems and booking platforms.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Customer-centric attitude and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of visa processes and travel documentation is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling corporate travel or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events).
• Familiarity with CRM tools and travel management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Multilingual abilities are an added advantage.
