AR-O-VR is an IIT Bhubaneswar incubated startup focused on creating augmented reality experiences for India's cultural pilgrimages. We aim to make cultural tours futuristic and engaging with an unorthodox touch. Our goal is to enhance the visitor experience by integrating cutting-edge technology into traditional pilgrimage tours.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bhubaneswar for a Tour Guide. The Tour Guide will be responsible for leading guided tours, engaging visitors with AR glasses use and technical guides to use those glasses while wondering inside the location, and delivering excellent customer service. Daily tasks include explaining historical significance, ensuring a seamless tour experience, and potentially assisting with sales of tour-related products or services.

Work hours / vacancies-

• position 1) 5 hours- 15,000/month salary
• position 2) 8 hours- 22,000/month salary
• position 3) 9 hours- 25-30k/month salary

Qualifications

• Excellent Communication skills and proficiency in Customer Service
• Sales experience is a plus
• Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
• Passion for cultural heritage and technology
• Local knowledge of Bhubaneswar 'Konark 'and 'Khandagiri' and surrounding areas
• A degree in History, Tourism, or related field is a plus
