Job Description

Level:

Monitor security alerts and events from tools such as CASB, EDR, WAF, IPS/IDS, and DLP etc
Perform initial triage and classification of alerts based on SOPs and playbooks Escalate validated incidents to L2 analysts or engineers as per defined thresholds
Conduct routine health checks on security devices (eg, firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection)
Monitor infrastructure capacity and system alerts to ensure uptime and performance Respond to service alerts and ensure timely resolution or escalation
Follow SOPs for routine tasks such as patching compliance, system hardening, and process health checks
Execute change communications and maintain exceptional registers for deviations Respond to S3-level tickets and service requests, ensuring proper documentation and closure
Maintain dashboards and generate periodic reports on alert trends, device status, and ticket metrics
Record key operational metrics such as response time, handle time, and error rates Participate in shift handovers and maintain continuity logs
Provide feedback on SOP effectiveness and suggest improvements
Engage in education sessions and maintain skills development plans
