PLSQL Developer

Job Title: PL/SQL Developer Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL development and experience working with Oracle databases. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable PL/SQL solutions to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL code (procedures, functions, triggers, and packages) for Oracle database applications. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand and define system requirements. Design and implement data models and database structures for new applications or system enhancements. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs. Provide support for application maintenance, including deployment, database migrations, and troubleshooting. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database solutions and improve processes. Ensure that all database solutions are scalable, high-performing, and reliable. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role with hands-on experience in Oracle databases. Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database development. Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar tools. Solid understanding of database design principles, indexing, and query optimization techniques. Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other database technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud database platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS) is advantageous. Experience in performance tuning and query optimization for large-scale databases. Certification in Oracle PL/SQL or related technologies is a plus.
