Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tools Designer based in Chennai. The Tools Designer will be responsible for designing and developing tooling and molds, creating detailed technical drawings and specifications, and working collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams. The role will focus on ensuring precision, quality, and functionality of the designs, while optimizing for efficiency in production processes. The Tools Designer will also perform evaluations and updates to improve existing designs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tooling Design and Mold Design
• Expertise in Design Engineering with a focus on creating tools and equipment
• Experience and knowledge in Injection Molding processes
• Strong understanding of Injection Molding processes
• Ability to work collaboratively within engineering and production teams
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or a related field
