1.Will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom material unit handling system,fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly / disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. Establishes standards across all operational processes. Serves as technical expert on specialized projects or programs.
2. Technically execute engineering projects by developing it with the AMAT associated suppliers.
3. Interface with internal and external customers regarding mechanical issues for specific project.
4. Implement concepts for range of difficult product issues and solutions.
5. Specify, supervise the development of, design, or modify engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of complex scope.
6. Generate product and test specifications.
7. Define / Create requirements for the material handling units which includes the architecture/concepts and validation.
8. Specify and perform engineering calculations & analysis of complex scope like custom designed parts and OEM selection.
9. Specify and review engineering documentation. Sound Knowledge on Material Selection of metals and non-metals, Machining, Fabrication process, sheet metal and post processing operations.
10.Proficient in different manufacturing methodology. Hands on experience in building the assemblies and troubleshooting the issues with form, fit and function.
11.Thorough knowledge on GD&T is a must and understanding on tolerance stack-up analysis will be an added advantage.
12. Proficient in using ISO & ASME Std. Knowledge on DIN Std. will be added advantage. Competency in UG NX or Pro-E/Creo
13.Good Presentation and Negotiation Skills
