Job Description

Hi all

Were Hiring: Engineer / Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager Tooling (Assembly)

Location:

Role Description

Tooling (Assembly)

Key Responsibilities

Design and development of tooling jigs and fixtures for aero-structure assemblies.
Tool design using
CATIA-V5
for detail parts and assemblies.
Good understanding of machines & processes used in the
sheet metal aerospace industry
.
Strong knowledge of
GD&T
and tolerance stack-ups in sheet metal components.
Drive
process improvements
and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in
CFT discussions
for process mapping, tool identification, validation.
Support
new product development (NPD)
.
Handle problem-solving related to tooling and assemblies.
Responsible for
new jig try-outs and validation
, including tool assembly.
Coordinate with internal departments at various project execution stages.
Data compilation & analysis: preparation of tool lists, tool drawings, and reports.
Prepare
System Process Flow Charts (SPFC)
in compliance with
AS9100
standards.

Knowledge & Skills Required

Assembly processes knowledge.
Proficiency in
ProE Wildfire 4.0, AutoCAD, and CATIA V5R16
.
Familiarity with OEM assembly tooling requirements.
Understanding of
tooling processes
and
AS9000 standards
.
Knowledge of aerospace approvals and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:
DME / B.E (Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace).
Experience:

Engineer Tooling (Assembly):
4–6 years.
Asst. Manager / Deputy Manager – Tooling (Assembly):
10–12+ years.

Industry Preference:
Aerospace / Manufacturing.
