As a Tool Room Head in the manufacturing industry, your role is crucial in managing the entire tool room department. You will be overseeing the design, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, moulds, jigs, and fixtures. Your responsibilities include: - Ensuring availability of tools, dies, and fixtures as per production requirements. - Managing the design, development, and fabrication of new tools, dies, and jigs. - Maintaining proper documentation of tool repair history. - Troubleshooting breakdowns and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime. - Working with machining processes including CNC, VMC, EDM, Wirecut, Lathe, Milling, and Grinding. - Ensuring all tools meet dimensional accuracy and quality standards. - Monitoring tool room consumables, materials, and spare parts inventory. - Coordinating with production, maintenance, design, and quality departments. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - 15-20 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
