Job Description

Role Overview: As a Tooling Technician, your main responsibility will be designing, modifying, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software and other tools. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on tools and equipment to ensure their optimal functioning. Developing schedules for preventive maintenance to prevent tool failures and extend their lifespan will also be a part of your duties. In case of tool-related issues on the production floor, you will diagnose and troubleshoot to resolve them efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that all tools meet the required quality standards and specifications - Manage inventory of tools and materials and coordinate tool procurement activities - Identify areas for improvement in tooling and manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency - Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality control teams for smooth operations and effective communication Qualification Required: - Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools for designing and modifying tools - Experience in performing maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on tools and equipment - Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot tool-related issues efficiently Additional Details: This position is full-time on a permanent basis, with benefits including internet reimbursement and Provident Fund. The work location is in person, where your skills and expertise in tooling will contribute to the success of the operational processes.,
