Job Description

You are a Tool Room Engineer with over 5 years of experience in supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Your role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing tools and equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with industry standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Knowledge about pharma manufacturing and machinery including Stainless steel, MS, Aluminium sheet/plate, ring, circle, pat, rood etc. - Design and develop tools, dies, and fixtures specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing. - Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling and equipment. - Collaborate with production teams to ensure tools meet operational requirements and safety standards. - Implement improvements to enhance tool performance and production efficiency. - Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). - Maintain detailed documentation of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities. - Oversee raw material receiving against purchase orders (PO) and purchase intimation. - Manage storage of raw materials before quality control (QC) in designated QC areas. - Handle daily goods receipt notes (GRN) using software-based recording systems. - Coordinate QC and production intimation processes for efficient workflow. - Ensure proper storage of approved bought-out and raw materials in designated store areas. - Issue materials based on Bill of Materials (BOM) and issue slips. - Prepare and manage purchase requisitions for BOM and general consumable products. - Update the BOM in bin cards for ongoing projects on a daily basis. - Oversee daily packaging and dispatches, including Delivery Orders (DO) and Delivery Challans (DC). - Maintain effective inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels. - Monitor and control dead stock and non-moving inventory to reduce wastage. - Manage the inventory and maintenance of spare parts for capital equipment. - Implement effective waste management strategies. - Adhere to and manage store policies for optimal material handling and inventory control. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in tool design and manufacturing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. - Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The company provides additional benefits such as pickup and drop facility from Vasai station. Office timing is from 9 am to 6 pm. Additional facilities will start after one year (i.e. Bonus, Holidays, etc.). This is a Full-time job with Day shift schedule. The work location is in person.,
