This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong programming skills and hands-on experience in VMC operation to ensure precision and quality in machining. Key Responsibilities: Programming: Create, modify, and optimize VMC programs using Mastercam software for efficient machining operations. Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and manage VMC (Machine: VL850) with Mitsubishi controllers, ensuring smooth and precise operation. Tool Setup & Calibration: Select appropriate tools, set up tooling, and perform calibration to achieve desired accuracy and precision. Quality Control: Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any programming or operational issues that may arise during machining. Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on the VMC machine to ensure its proper functioning and longevity. You are a Tool Room Engineer with over 5 years of experience supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Your role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing tools and equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You possess knowledge about pharma manufacturing and machinery such as Stainless steel, MS, Aluminium sheet/plate, ring, circle, pat, rood, etc. Your responsibilities include designing and developing tools, dies, and fixtures specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing, conducting maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling and equipment, collaborating with production teams to ensure operational requirements and safety standards are met, implementing improvements for enhanced tool performance and production efficiency, performing quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with GMP. You will be responsible for maintaining detailed documentation of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities, overseeing raw material receiving against purchase orders, grouping raw materials for efficient handling and production use, managing storage of raw materials, performing physical checks of bought-out and raw materials, handling daily goods receipt notes, controlling material flow registers, coordinating QC and production processes, ensuring proper storage of materials, issuing materials based on Bill of Materials, preparing purchase requisitions, updating BOM in bin cards, overseeing packaging and dispatches, maintaining inventory control, monitoring dead stock and non-moving inventory, ensuring adherence to minimum stock levels, managing spare parts inventory, implementing waste management strategies, and adhering to store policies for optimal material handling and inventory control. To qualify for this role, you need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in tool design and manufacturing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. You should have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
