The Tool Room Engineer is responsible for a wide range of critical tasks, including: Tool Maintenance and Repair: Ensuring all tools are properly maintained, calibrated, and repaired to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Inventory Management: Managing tool inventory, tracking usage, and ensuring availability of necessary tools for production needs. Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement in tool maintenance and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency. Training and Development: Providing training to production staff on proper tool handling, maintenance, and safety protocols. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of tool maintenance, repair activities, and performance metrics to track effectiveness. Vendor Management: Collaborating with vendors for tool procurement, repairs, and maintenance services to ensure quality and timely support.
