Required Skills / Qualifications Job Description - Tool Design (Jigs & Fixtures) This position requires an accredited bachelor mechanical / manufacturing engineering degree or equivalent with more than 6 years of core manufacturing experience in Tool design (Jigs & fixtures) . Candidate with diploma in tool & die making from NTTF, GTTC, Indo German tool room, CITD or equivalent with min 8 years of core manufacturing experience in tool design (Jigs & fixtures) with exceptional track records may also be considered. Incumbents should have hands-on experience in Tool design, Tool selection & Tool validation for variety of components preferably related to the products of construction, mining & Earth moving equipment industry or equivalent components / industry Excellent fundamental working knowledge & experience in the design of Jigs, gauges, templates & work holding fixtures like Assembly build cum Shipping fixtures, Lifting fixtures, Machining fixtures incorporating pneumatic & hydraulic clamps, fit-up fixtures, fixtures for paint shops are mandatory. Exceptional knowledge in the calculation of the machining cutting force, selection of the cylinders/ clamps, knowledge about various suppliers of cylinders, pumps & other components required for the design, structural requirement for testing fixtures are required. Candidate should have very good working knowledge on the assembly tools being used in the assembly line and should be able to select the appropriate tool based on the application & torque requirement. Should have very good knowledge on the various assembly tools (manual & power) available in the market. Candidate should also have knowledge about selection of various types of perishable tools per application requirement. Candidate should be very fluent in the Creo software skills with minimum 4 to 5 years of experience is required. Excellent working knowledge on modeling & detailing will be an added advantage Excellent competency to read & interpret engineering and manufacturing drawing, GD&T symbols is required.
