Position: TML Operator
Location: Angul Meramandli – TATA Steel Plant
Company: Plastochem India Pvt. Ltd.
Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 2–3 Years
Qualification: 8th Pass / ITI / Technical Background Candidates

Job Summary

Plastochem India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking skilled and experienced TML Operators to work at the TATA Steel Plant, Angul Meramandli. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in operating TML machines and handling various operational tasks within a steel plant environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

a) Operate and control TML machines in various operational fields such as:

• Converter’s mouth jam cleaning
• Leap jam cleaning
• Bottom jam cleaning
• Tap hole drilling
• De-breaking of ladle
• Slag pot cleaning
• Utilize in-depth operational knowledge to perform these tasks safely and efficiently.

b) Perform routine inspections and diagnostic checks on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance.

c) Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for equipment, vehicles, and machinery.

d) Report mechanical failures, system issues, or malfunctions to maintenance supervisors or technical engineers promptly.

e) Support troubleshooting of technical problems and ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety standards and procedures.

f) Coordinate and assist with planned maintenance schedules to minimize operational downtime.

g) Perform all assigned duties responsibly and adhere strictly to company rules, regulations, and standard operating procedures.

h) Maintain discipline, decorum, and follow all safety norms and guidelines within the work premises.

Skills Required

• Familiarity with steel plant safety protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
