As a Supplier Quality Assurance Scientist at PepsiCo, you will have the following responsibilities: - Prepare short presentations for cross functional meetings held quarterly targeting approximately 5 material category metrics. - Assist in preparing data for Europe sector manufacturing sites GFSI audits by checking supplier data and documents before the audit, ensuring all information is correct, and collecting data during the audit if any issues are found. - Support ancillary programs in Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) such as sending and reviewing food fraud questionnaires to suppliers, requesting contaminants data, handling ad-hoc requests from suppliers resulting from regulatory affairs incidents, and aligning Pathogen Sensitive Ingredient (PSIP) Questionnaires as part of a formal AMESA PSIP program. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in a science discipline such as Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. - Lead Auditor training is a requirement, and training must be completed either before or shortly after joining the team. - 1-2 years of experience in Regulatory, QA/QC, or other food-related FMCG in a technical role. - Ability to interpret technical information, escalate issues, and seek alignment towards workable solutions. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to rapidly learn computer applications/programs. - Basic understanding of Food Safety, Microbiology, and Regulatory Affairs. - Collaborative skills and the ability to work closely with internal and external partners across time zones. - Good communication skills both oral and written, including communication with external and internal stakeholders. - Effective time management across multiple priorities and projects, demonstrating organizational and communication skills to ensure timely delivery. - Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative on projects. - Fluency in English is required.
