As an AutoCAD Draftsman specializing in waterworks, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting in the creation of precise technical drawings for various water treatment and distribution projects. Your role will involve utilizing AutoCAD software to develop detailed 2D drawings, including L-sections, treatment plant layouts, piping systems, and other essential water infrastructure components. Collaboration with engineers and designers to ensure the accuracy and alignment of drawings with project specifications will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. It is crucial to maintain a comprehensive understanding of drafting standards and symbols while adhering to company quality control procedures to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of the drawings. Additionally, you will be required to make revisions to existing drawings based on project updates or client feedback. Ideally, you will have 1-4+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, with a background in the waterworks or civil engineering industry. Your proven ability to produce high-quality, error-free AutoCAD drawings, along with a strong grasp of AutoCAD features and functionality, will be essential for success in this role. A solid understanding of drafting principles and conventions, exceptional attention to detail, and a dedication to precision will also be crucial attributes. Effective communication and collaboration skills are highly valued, as is the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D would be advantageous.
